IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) was established on 13.11.2009 in accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Its primary objective is to promote continuous, conscious, and catalytic improvement in the academic, administrative, and professional functioning of the University.

IQAC ensures the implementation of strong and effective quality assurance policies aimed at maintaining high academic standards. It plays a vital role in strengthening teaching, learning, and research practices by developing transparent and accountable systems for students, faculty, administrative staff, funding agencies, and other stakeholders.

The Cell manages key quality assurance activities such as internal and external reviews, audits, preparation of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR), annual reports, environment audit reports, university ranking and rating submissions, stakeholder feedback analyses, and other responsibilities assigned by the University.

IQAC actively organizes seminars, webinars, open forums, expert talks, and other academic development programmes for faculty, administrative staff, and stakeholders to stay updated with current trends across disciplines. It also documents various institutional activities and reports follow-up actions related to infrastructure, learning environments, and academic research facilitation.

Overall, the IQAC serves as a crucial component of GNDU’s commitment to excellence, ensuring sustained quality enhancement and continuous upgradation across academic, administrative, and professional domains.
